EXPERIENCED TABLE GAMES DEALERS

MULTIPLE POSITIONS

We are currently recruiting for casual and full time Games Dealers. As a games dealer you will be responsible for the highest standards of customer service, ensuring your actions are in accordance with Rules and Regulations as approved by the ACT Gambling and Racing Commission and Casino Canberra’ Policies and Procedures.

Successful candidates MUST have:

Minimum 12 months prior experience as a Table Games Dealer with skills in at least 2 major games (essential);
Available to work a rotating roster including days, nights and weekends;
Exceptional grooming and presentation;
Excellent communication skills;
A proven commitment to customer service and team work.
Your casino experience will be verified and a table test to assess your skills will be conducted. If you feel you have the skills and the energy to exceed in this role, we would love to hear from you. EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY:

SOFT COUNT / CASHIER – CASUAL

Are you looking for some extra work to fit in with your current schedule? Casino Canberra has vacancies for people skilled in cash handling and an eye for detail.

The successful applicant will need to have:

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Experience in cash handling operations, including, cash control, cash equivalents, documentation and reconciliation.
Banking experience or similar, would be an advantage but not essential.
Multiple shifts are available seven days from 9.30am. Please indicate your availability within your written application.

SURVEILLANCE OPERATOR

CASUAL POSITION AVAILABLE

Casino Canberra has a vacancy for a casual Surveillance Operator.  The position involves maintaining surveillance over gaming tables and other areas of the casino primarily via closed circuit television equipment. Previous experience in either Gaming and/or Surveillance would be an advantage.  Surveillance Operators detect, record and report illegal as well as unusual activity. Applicants for this position will require the following attributes:

Self-motivation
Mature, responsible outlook
Neat, concise report writing ability
Sound mathematical skills
Good eyesight
Astute powers of observation
Pleasant phone manner
Ability to work in a close team environment
Able to work 24 hour rotating shifts
Discretion not to discuss their work and/or tasks with other staff

Ideally you’ll have previous reception experience in the hospitality environment and have exceptional attention to detail.  You will be able to work a roster including day/night shifts and weekends as well as a desire to progress your career with Casino Canberra.

Casino Canberra is currently looking for staff to fill various casual, part-time and full-time positions in the Restaurant, Bars and Galaxy Nightclub.  Applicants will be motivated and responsible people who want to excel in the hospitality industry.
