Friday 19 December – The Dorothy-Jane Duo
Acoustic Blues n Roots with award-winning
singer/songwriter/blues-harp player, Dorothy-Jane "DJ" Gosper and
slide/pickin' guitarist extraordinaire, Richard Steele. This powerhouse duo
play a mix of earthy originals and traditional covers from the Mississippi
Delta to Chicago blues.
Saturday 20 December – BandJava
Live music at Casino CanberraBandJava plays Blues, R&B
and modern roots music with a smattering of Jazz and Country. They love to hunt
out some of those hidden gems by famous players that need to be given some
extra life. Bandjava is a 5 piece band with female vocalist, guitars, bass and
drums. All the band members have a history of playing both in Canberra and
earlier careers around Australia and overseas.
Each night from 10pm.
