End of Year Casino Canberra Teams Event Hold-em Poker Tournament

The following conditions are to be read in conjunction with the Casino Canberra Ltd Rules of Poker (Hold-em).
Game: HOLD-EM

Dates: 28th November 2010

Starting Time: 13:00

Entry Fee: $330 total fee for each team ($30 pre-paid commission, $300 for tournament prize pool.)

Each team will receive $8,000 in Tournament chips

Rebuys: Nil

No of teams: Minimum of 10/Maximum of 60* plus alternate teams **.

Prize Breakdown:
1, If less than 40 teams, 2, 40 or more teams
1st 40% 1st 30% 6th 5% 2nd 30% 2nd 20% 7th 4%
3rd 15% 3rd 15% 8th 3%
4th 10% 4th 10% 9th 3%
5th 5% 5th 7% 10th 3%

Table limits: No Limit

Blinds: There shall be two blinds increasing as per schedule below

240-270 $700/$1,400
270-300 $1,000/$2,000

Then the small blind increasing by $5,000 every 30 minutes with the big blind always double the small

Terms and Conditions

1. Each team shall consist of two players

2. Each player from each team will commence with $4,000 in tournament chips.

3. In the event that the first player loses all their tournament chips before the completion of the first level the second team member will commence playing from the next hand with the use of their $4,000 of tournament chips. They will continue to interchange with each other at the completion of each level.

4. Each team player will interchange with their playing partner at the change of every level.

5. At the completion of level one, team members` chips will form one team pool.

6. Alternate teams where applicable will commence with $8,000 in tournament chips with $4,000 tournament chips being issued to each team member at the commencement of their play.

7. Should one member of a team become unavailable to play during the tournament the remaining player in that team will be disqualified and forfeit their place in the tournament.

8. At the commencement of the Final Table the team players will interchange with each other at the completion of each round and no longer at the completion of each level.

9. The tournament will conclude when only one team is left.

10. All Tournaments are subject to government approval.

* The number of players is subject to the availability of staff.
** Alternate teams may be entered into the tournament during the first
four levels only.
*** Each individual team will decide which of their two participants will play first.
