Promotion Summary


All active players (players with a bet on that round of play) on the following table games when the specified combinations arise will each receive one entry ticket into the draws:

Rapid Roulette: when the winning number is zero (0)
Roulette: when the winning number is zero (0)
Mini-baccarat: when any tie occurs
Pai Gow: when the dealer opens with any pair (back bets included)

All players dealt the following hand will receive one free entry ticket into the draws:

Blackjack: when the player is dealt Blackjack (Includes back bets)
Pontoon: when the player is dealt Pontoon (Includes back bets)
Canberra Poker: when the player is dealt three of a kind or better
Texas Hold-em: when a player wins the showdown with a flush or better (cash games only)

How to enter
Players fill out their entry ticket by clearly printing their name, address and contact number and placing it into the entry barrel provided. Only entry tickets with all fields completed will be deemed as valid entries.

How the Winners are Determined
The first legible and eligible entry ticket with all fields completed that is drawn from the barrel will win.

Cash Draws

All winners who are present at the time of the draw will be invited to search through a treasure chest containing five (5) scrolls each varying in value. Upon selecting a scroll, winners can then open it to reveal their prize value.

$500,000.00 dollar Poker Tournament

Casino Canberra will hold a poker tournament over the long weekend in June that will carry a prize pool approaching $500,000.00. The tournament called ‘PokerStars.net ANZPT Canberra’ is a part of the very successful Australia New Zealand Poker Tour (ANZPT) is expected to attract over 200 players from around the region. Peter Cursley, Director of Marketing of Casino Canberra believes many of the region’s poker clubs will buy a seat or two in this major tournament and run their own club tournaments with the winners earning a seat in the June ANZPT Tournament.

Casino Canberra will run weekly tournament each Thursday and Friday starting between 7.30pm and 8.30pm where the winners of these satellite tournaments can also win a seat in the big one.

The cost to enter the major tournament will be $2,200 but from just $110 to enter the satellite tournaments.

ANZPT is part of the PokerStars series of tournaments that include the European Poker Tour (EPT), Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) and Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT). Each tour stops at the world’s most exclusive destinations to play for huge prize pools, giving players the ultimate live poker experience.
